Linda Claire creates dolls as an art form. Linda Claire's style is dolls with the 1920’s – 1930’s long slender and rather romantic look. She produces the entire doll from the initial sculpture, mold making and pouring through the painting, wigging and costume design and stitching. Linda Claire started to make dolls in 1994 when her mother asked her to take lessons with her to learn how to make a porcelain doll. She made Sugar Britches and was hooked! After a few more reproductions learning the media associated with porcelain doll making she decided to try sculpting. Later in 1994 she sculpted her first doll, moved to an English country village, remarried and settled in. In 1997 she produced her first original award-winning doll and won international awards every year until her retirement from formal competition. I hope you enjoy this web site and the exquisite dolls displayed.
